Foundation Under ICAN - Admission Process

Get Counselling

At first you will be given counselling regarding CA Studies. This done online as well offline in Gurukul CA premises. Here you will be described all about CA Education and your queries will be resolved. You can apply for the online counseling or visit Gurukul CA premises during office hours for counseling.

Decide

CA Studies need dedication and hardwork. As rightly said CA Course is not the toughest course but it is for the tough peoples. So after counseling you need to decide whether you want to pursue CA course or not. If you think you are a tough person and decide to to study CA, then let’s move to third step.

Finalise Fees and Scholarships

Now you have to get a final fees estimate from Gurukul CA. This is done after deducting all scholarships you are eligible for. You can also get scholarships later on based on internal tests. Also make up your mind for all the expenses (accomodation/food/travel) that you may have to incur during CA studies.

Gather Necessary Documents

Now you have to start gathering all the necessary documents for registration in ICAN and in Gurukul CA. If any documents are missing, you have to contact Gurukul CA as soon as possible for alternatives. The copies of the documents have to be attested before it’s submission.

ICAN Registration

There are deadlines for registration in ICAN so it need to be done as soon as possible. In our counseling session you will be told about the procedure for ICAN registration and how to do it online. You have to keep in mind about the last date of registration and do the registration without any delay.

Gurukul Admission

Now after fee is finalised you can do your admission in Gurukul CA. You can also do admission in Gurukul CA and then do ICAN registration but make sure the registration deadlines of ICAN are not missed. After getting admission in Gurukul CA, your journey of becoming a CA begins !!!

You can request online counseling if you are planning to study CA in future. We provide counseling to students through video conference which takes about 30 minutes time. For face to face counseling of CA Studies, students can visit Gurukul CA during office hours.

Registration deadlines

For December Exams
Last date of registration is May 31

For June Exams
Last date of registration is November 30

Necessary documents for registration in Foundation under ICAN

  1. SEE Marksheet
  2. SEE Character Certificate
  3. Plus Two Transcript (For those who are waiting for grade XII result, they can submit Grade XI mark sheet)
  4. Plus Two Character (For those who are waiting for grade XII result, they can submit Grade XII admit card)
  5. Passport size photographs
  6. Signature in plain paper
  7. Citizenship Certificate (If not yet obtained, upload a written application requesting to allow the submission of citizenship after sometime but before filing CAP I exam form)

Note: Any pending documents like Grade XII marksheet, Character Certificate or Citizenship Certificate shall be submitted before filling the Foundation level Exam Form.

Finalise Fees and Scholarships

Application Level scholarships are based on the results of Foundation Level. If you are starting your Application Level before Foundation level results then you should wait till the results to calculate your final fees. However you can understand about the scholarship schemes that Gurukul provides (merit based and internal test based) and can estimate your final fees based on the best assumption of Foundation Level results.

Gurukul Admission

Now after fee is estimated you can do your admission in Gurukul CA for Application Level. You can do admission in Gurukul CA and then do ICAN registration after your Foundation level results are published but make sure the registration deadlines, (February End and August End) of ICAN for Application level are not missed. After getting admission in Gurukul CA, your journey of Application Level begins !!!

Study Application level before Foundation level results

Since you will be starting your Application level before the Foundation level results, you will have to study assuming that you have already cracked Foundation. During these two months students should make sure that the chapters covered in the class are well prepared and understood as after results the same chapters would not be repeated.

Foundation level Results

Celebrate your success and give yourself a treat. Also analyze your performance by finding out what could have been better and make a list of areas of improvement and the sacrifices that you are going to make to improve your results in Application level. Get charged with energy and make sure you perform better in Application level.

ICAN Registration

There are deadlines for registration in ICAN for CAP II as well so it needs to be done as soon as possible. In our counseling session you will be told about the procedure for ICAN registration and how to do it online. You have to keep in mind about the last date of registration and do the registration without any delay.
